Description
This is the sixty-ninth destination in the collection of the series "Ragtime at the Red-Light District." This piece is set at Singapore's Geylang Road.

The main character in this piece is a 31-year old emu farm entrepreneur. This individual began the profession at age nine after inheriting an emu farm the individual's foster grandmother won courtesy of a royal flush against rival gangs in Texas Hold 'em. While running successful farms along turnpikes and other metropolitan areas, the main character has also displayed risky behavior. One notable example included breeding a mob of asexually-reproducing emus that had DNAs of both the golden lancehead and a velociraptor – a decision resulting in 1,936 injuries in 36 minutes.

Seeking to escape from the chaos meant that the main character decided to go abroad; following a recommendation from a local chipmunk farm entrepreneur, the main character went to Singapore and stayed there for four weeks. During that time, the main character went back to appreciating more uncomplicated luxuries that included Friday visits to the Singapore Botanic Gardens and emotional stops at both Yueh Hai Ching Temple and Fort Siloso. After a series of educational sojourns, the main character decided to enjoy a significant event: rugby match during the Singapore Sevens at Singapore National Stadium. However, during the game, several fans noticed the main character about his emu-breeding fiasco and attempted to accost the individual.

The main character had to sprint furiously to avoid calamity. After the vigorous sprint, the main character opted to endure a power walk to Geylang Road. There, the main character noticed a group of working people being improperly treated and harassed and tried to intervene before being shoved aside. Fortunately, the main character met a flaxen-haired lady who works as a yak farm mogul; that lady once emulated the main character's controversial emus by cross-breeding her yak with DNAs of a cheetah and snow leopard. The unorthodox yak managed to ward off the wily harassers, while the lady and the main character escorted the working people to a labyrinth beneath a safe house. The group of people spent the next three days in safety, reminiscing past events, and discussing their futures.

This piece has a format of 4AA8BBC4A'4C'C'. Alexander Scriabin's "Poeme Satanique" and La Bouche's "Be My Lover" were the basis for this piece. Please note that the A section utilizes a combination of acoustic and octatonic scales, a feature shared with Scriabin during his later life. Also, the B section is a 24-bar section.
