Description
This melody is the fiftieth destination in the collection of the series "Ragtime at the Red-Light District." This piece occurs at Ingolstadt’s Club Lido in Kälberscüttraße.

The main character in this piece is a 30-year old mathematics teacher and an avid trigonometry fan. What makes this person special isn’t the knowledge of mathematics, but this person has been voted by esteemed professors from 144 countries as the “World’s Most Boring Mathematics Bachelor.” That is because this person has never lived life and never left his country of origin. So, the main character had a dream that had only two people: himself and St. Peter. St Peter said to the person, “Before sunset on the seventh day, you will meet a beautiful woman and fall in love with this woman. Go to Ingolstadt and live life.” But the main character became adamant and said, “I may go to Ingolstadt, but I will not be shaken. If God intended for me to be chaste, so be it.” In In any event, the main character hurried to Ingolstadt.

Excited by the dream, the main character had his eyes and imagination open in ways unprecedented in his life. So, the person began his journey with confession and guidance from a priest inside Church of Our Lady. The next three days saw the main character visit three more iconic places: Kreutzor Gate, University of Ingolstadt, and Museum Mobile. But one place had interested the main character above all others – Audi Sportpark.

That was because the main character overheard a special event to happen during Ingolstadt’s Bundesliga match against Stuttgart. Audi Sportpark would attempt a Guinness World Record for the largest outdoor speed-dating event following the match. So, the main character decided to go; but after speaking to 58081 women inside Audi Sportpark, the person left empty-handed as he heard several harsh comments: too boring, too strict, too rigid, too unspontaneous, too righteous, and even one woman referred to the main character as too unclingy. Heartbroken and swearing incessantly due to the dream with St. Peter, this person walked with hopeless spirit on the streets of Ingolstadt.
The main character had reached another notable location in Club Lido, where the main character noticed a single mother working at Club Lido crying, due to a group of rowdy hooligans having harassed the woman with vulgar language and lewd behavior. The main character thought he did not know what to say to the woman, but with guided spirit, he consoled the woman and offered support and loyalty. The woman was pleased and offered her unwavering support and love, which happened 36 seconds before sunset. Then the main character, remembering the dream with St. Peter, said to the woman, “I’m ready to live life. With you by my side, life will be worth living.” So, the two people enjoyed entertainment and even a free trigonometry lesson while relaxing inside Club Lido.

This piece had a format of 4AABB4CDDA’A’. George Botsford’s “Grizzly Bear Rag” and Irene Franklin’s “Redhead Rag” were the basis for this piece. Note that the A section is a 24-bar section; in addition, the first A section is written in F major, whereas the second A section, although retaining most of the first section, is written in F Mixolydian Mode.
