descripção
This is the twelfth piece of the "Anarchist Projects" that I started in 2005, and by far the of the the twelve pieces. The melody was originally intended primarily for a male-audience, especially geared toward a younger audience, primarily preteens and teenagers. Among some of the composers that this piece (and all the other eleven pieces) incorporates includes Bach, Lyadov, Stravinsky and Pachulski, with movie melodies (namely, Lord of the Rings) and even Christmas carols (namely, Here Comes Santa Claus).

The concept originated from the tenth-ever episode of "The Simpsons," titled "Homer's Night Out," which to this date remains my favorite episode. In watching this episode a lot stands out to ponder and reflect: Bart's picture and the nonchalant way of describing the woman; Marge's initial reaction to Homer; her follow-up statement to Homer, reminding him what Bart needs to learn and Homer's quest, along with his oration to a all-male audience about the importance of women.

It was so powerful, it reminded my of what I have gone thorugh and somewhat still going through. Since February 2001 I tended to have a fascination of pictures of scantily-clad and/or nude women. Twice I recalled getting busted (on Good Friday 2001, which was Tax Day that year!), and January 31, 2009.

The episode also reminded me of any lessons learned and whether I learned from those decisions. With sincere reflecting and some heavy Internet searching, I have come to believe that, as Eolake Stobblehouse once wrote "that the beauty of woman is valuable, and that not only is it okay to admire beauty, it is a sin not to." I believe these words very much, just as much as I believe in Homer Simpson's words from "Homer's Night Out," that even though it is important to admire their overall beauty, that I must always remind myself that women "are not mere objects with curves that make us crazy. No, they are our wives, they are our daughters, our sisters, our grandmas, our aunts, our nieces and nephews---well, not our nephews."

In this piece, I had an idea that I did not just need ordinary women or even feminists discussing this topic. Rather, it would be the swimsuit models, lingerie models, and even the soft-core porn models that would preach to the male audience about this topic. How the women would assemble at first would involve an interesting formation: the Macedonian phalanx in an 16x16 formation (I got the idea after having learned about the phalanxes in ninth grade history).
