Description
This is the fifty-fifth destination in the collection of the series "Ragtime at the Red Light District." This piece is set at 's-Hertogenbosch's Chaplin Club.

The main character in this piece is a 30-year old ethical butcher. This person has been one of the best at this craft for months now, but has rarely been featured outside working confines. So with guided spirit, the main character decided to bring four bushels of ethically cut meat throughout the city, which included but not limited to notable places, such as: Cathedral Church of St. John and s-Hertogenbosch Railway Station inspiration of the city. One local resident was so impressed with the food that this person offered the main character a chance to showcase his food during an upcoming World Cup qualifying match to be contested at De Vliert. So the ethical butcher decided to bring more bushels to the stadium, where the meat was such an attraction that other concession stands would be no competition for the meat.

After the success at the stadium, the main character decided to leave the bushels on site and enjoy a power walk en route to Chaplin Club. It was there that the ethical butcher had to also be reminded of another trait: that of humility and abstinence. So at first, it was understandable that the main character felt perturbed with the erotic behavior at Chaplin Club. That was until a female worker walked up to the main character and said that she was not like all the other people. She wanted to walk away from this lifestyle and also practice humility and abstinence like the ethical butcher. So the two people decide to enjoy a night out on town and coffer at a 24-hour coffee shop nearby.

This piece has a format of 4AABBCC4DD4AA. Janet Sullivan's "In Every Age" and George Botsford's "Hyacinth Rag" were the basis for this piece, the latter included in the A-section. Please note that the A-section is a 24-bar section and the D-section is an eight-bar section.
