Description
This is the thirty-third destination in the collection of the series "Ragtime at the Red Light District." This piece is set at Marseille's Quartiers Réservés.

The main character in this piece is a 31-year old caterer looking to create a lavish party in Europe. This person had been on vacation visiting some of the city's notable landmarks to get inspiration for food, including Porte d'Aix and Vieux-Port. Even during his free time, the main character fished on a boat be rented and caught an abundance of fish that he made enough food for homeless people in the city as well as for spectators.

The main character even made bouillabaisse, vichyssoise and ratatouille for families and spectators at a kiosk inside Stade Vélodrome. The main character was inside Hôtel de Ville when one maid rushed inside to his room and informed the person of terrible news. The Quartiers Réservés was under a severe famine as none of the female workers had any wonderful experiences at their place for six months.

So, the main character asked the maid to supply him with the finest cooks and sommeliers of the city as the group would power walk toward a makeshift kitchen outside the red-light district. It would be there where the group assembled the finest fish, meat, wines and even root beer for these deserving workers. The workers were grateful for the group's presence, lead by the main character, and the female workers joined with the group as well as can-can dancers that were arriving from a performance.

This piece has a format of 4AABBCC4DD4A4. Billy Joel's "Root Beer Rag" and Johann Sebastian Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto No. 2" were the basis for this piece, the former whose influence is found in the first section and the latter during the bridge between the third and fourth sections.
