Description
This is the thirteenth destination in the collection of the series "Ragtime at the Red Light District." This piece is set at Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel.

The main character in this piece is a 32-year old person who often displays many talents. This character, by chance, finds himself in some rather unusual situations, but passes all tests with grace and elegance. The main character helped out in negotiations to prevent a person from jumping off the Europaturm before saving the city's fire marshal after suffering a heart attack at Braubachstraße.

After setting up successful blind dates for residents outside at Waldstadion, the main character ended his six-hour power walk at Taunusstraße. The main character noticed overtly muscular men wooing the heart of a brunette woman working in the district.

As the men do their best, the woman looks past the muscles of the men's body and sees the main character. Seeing only a heavily-used piano outside a club, the main character begins improvising a tune, much to the delight of not only the woman. But more stunning was that the muscular men celebrated and formed an impromptu band and gave a message of respect to the grateful main character who was able to win the heart and hand of the woman.

This piece has a format of 4AA8BBACC4DA. Multiple inspirations for this piece are evident here. Such examples for the basis of this piece include Joseph Lamb's "The Top-Liner Rag" and J. L Truax "Falling Waters" (both evident in the C section), Johann Sebastian Bach's Prelude in F Major (BWV 928)(evident in the B section), and Louis-Claude Daquin's "Le Coucou," which is influenced in the second 4-bar bridge.
