Description
This melody is the nineteenth destination in the collection of the series "Rags of the Red Light District." This piece occurs at Copenhagen's Istedgade.

The main character in this piece is a 28-year old guidance counselor that has had struggles avoiding temptations in life. This person was attending a first European vacation in nearly a decade and opted to visit Copenhagen. For the main character, this vacation took on more spiritual meaning because it has come during Lent. The main character often indulges in temptations but must avoid vice since the main character has often had a knack for helping people avoided committing criminal acts.

So during the vacation, the main character performs charitable functions in Copenhagen. This person spent almost every day beginning the day with prayer at Vor Frue Kirke. The main character also dispensed all personal funds to purchase food and bicycles to a group of people: low-income families Amagertorv and working-class citizens inside Krystallen. Toward the end of the vacation was Easter, and the main character attended Easter Vigil Mass inside Parken Stadium.

Following the service, the main character decides to undertake one more power walk, but this time to the Vesterbro District and in particular Istedgade. There, the main character was beyond impressed after seeing swarms of beautiful women. One woman did stand out, a recent bankrupt college graduate looking to turn to prostitution. With words of advice and inspiration from St. Monica, the main character convinced the woman to reconsider. The woman, grateful for the main character's information, offered the main character to stay permanently in Copenhagen. The main character agreed, and the two people danced and dated into the evening.

This piece has a format of 4AABBA4CC4ADD. Antonin Dvorak's Anton Dvorak's "Slavonic Dance in C Major" (Op.46 No.1) and Reinhold Gliere's Esquisse in A Major were the inspirations for this piece, the former whose central theme is evident.
